On the evening of April 12, the welcome banquet for the 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) was held in Haikou. Pan Feng, Vice Chairman of CEATEC and President of ECECDC, was invited to attend the event.
During the event, Pan Feng held exchanges with Feng Fei, Secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee; Liu Xiaoming, Governor of the Hainan Provincial People’s Government; and Martin Tomčo, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to China. All parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including the high-level opening-up of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the development of cross-border consumer industries, pragmatic China-Europe economic and trade cooperation, international two-way investment and trade, and the integration of Chinese and foreign cultural and tourism consumption. They jointly explored cooperation opportunities and outlined a shared vision for future development.
The 6th CICPE is the first national-level exhibition held after the independent customs operations of the Hainan Free Trade Port across the whole island, and serves as a key international economic and trade platform at the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The Expo will take place from April 13 to 18, bringing together over 3,400 brands from more than 60 countries and regions. Multiple countries, including the Czech Republic, have organized official delegations to participate extensively, reflecting a strong atmosphere of international openness and cooperation.
